Profile Privacy

By default, Dolphin allows members to set privacy for their Profile based on group privacy settings only (members,friends,public etc). This is insufficient for many members. Many persons want to limit who can contact them also (not just who can view them). Also members want more control in filtering access. For example, they may be interest in only local persons or persons within a certain age group or a particular gender. This module gives your members this greater flexibility that they are seeking.

This module allows members to set privacy for either viewing their Profile or Contacting them. Both privacy settings are separate. Therefore a member may allow certain groups of persons to be able to see their profile but not contact them.

Criteria

Privacy can be limited based on the following options :

-> Country
-> City
-> Age
-> Gender
-> Privacy Group (Public, Members Only etc.)


For Contact Privacy, limitations can be placed on sending messages or contact by Messenger

Optional Reciprocity functionality -This means that if "Member A" activates the reciprocity function, their profile will only be viewable by "Member B" if "Member B" profile is also viewable to "Member A".


This module does not require any changes in Dolphin source code. All that is needed is installation from the Admin Panel.
