Becoming an expert

Feeling a little greedy are we? Joke. No offense intended my friend. But "them are the rules of this here Boonex game". It is after all their playing field and is one we don't have to play on. But, if we chose to play in it, we have no choice but to play by their rules. We can certainly try and market Dolphin-related products outside of the Boonex network of sites. But, since serious Boonex users will most likely be found on Boonex's network of sites, then we may not be able to sell effectively. see more So, that's the conundrum. If we decide to conform, then we will need to figure out for ourselves how to first recoup the $20/mo Boonex cost and make enough to make our venture worth while.

Nowhere did it say you had to contribute $20.00 every month. In fact, it just ask for a single contribution and you're forever a contributor. Which I would believe you could sell your "products" all day only paying $20.00 bucks once.

Two things..
1. You don't have to become a contributor to sell your products, you can sell them on expertzzz.com for free.

2. Boonex doesn't take a commission from your products, you get 100%

where did you get the idea that boonex was going to take a commission. now that it has been laid out for you what some have to say about becoming a contributor, let me say what i think it means to me.

as mentioned, you are willing to show a committment to something you believe in, by your contribution of $20.00 per month or $100.00 per year, you get a whole lot more in return. what do you get you say. well lets start with ad-free licenses. lets count them
Dolphin - $39.00
Orca - $39.00
Ray see more - $39.00
Ray Widget Pack x 10 widgets - $390.00

OH MY $497.00 worth of ad-free licenses, and you are complaining about $20.00?

A year or 12 stars costs $100.00, we are talking about $8.33 per month, on a monthly basis, boonex is giving back to you $41.42, so mathematically speaking, boonex is paying you $33.09 per month to use their script. pay for your contributor status or hit the bricks. its simple. you can always go over to expertzzz.com and sell your wares, and hope you enjoy yourself over there.

in one month if your wares are worth your complaint, you could sell say 10 a day @ $5.00 each, $50.00 per day times 30 days in the month $1500.00 per month on one site alone. now couple that with selling on expertzzz, and there are a few other sites, and you could stand the possibility of making $4000.00 to $5000.00 per month, for your meager investment of as you state $20.00 per month.

being a contributor to sell them here, also means your coding skills have been evaluated, means that no-one can sell here for free, i.e. stolen mods they stole and resold on expertzzz and like the others have said. its better for all

A little from me (as Boonex staff):
* we don`t get any comissions
* I pay too (as my own home account 'Aramis') $20 (as Boonex staff)
but one, I pay once, so in this month I become expert here, so no need pay more, yes, my status of contributor is off now, but expert status will worked all time
this is just for service.
It give us one good advantage, we save us from false expertzzz, cheaters etc like CodyT, remember? he always register new account and sell and sell stoled mods
second - admin see more approving of mods, it second protection from selling bad, incomplete, not-working mods. We (I hope) don`t steal ideas and code, we (sure 100% about me) don`t need your mods,
For example I never buy any mod before, just because I don`t need it, all mods and all work I can develop myself.
All admins must just check and approve mods if it meet all requirements

So yes, pay just once 20, and be faster - publish your free extension and become expert, welcome!

I agree with mscott. If you don't want to pay anything you may go and sell your products on Expertzzz.

This rule was created to protect the system from fake vendors with fake products. There are a lot of such members in Expertzzz system. Paying $20 for contributor status, you show that you have serious expectancies.

i think the new system is fair and more secure, and it gives people some reassurance that they are getting something thats not stolen, and works as it is within a strict set of guidelines as to write the code. this is important as it almost assures you that your mod will work within the system and not from outside the system where the next update will render it usless and you have to pay again for the same mod updated.

i noticed ol' thang hasnt come back in here complaining about the $20.00

if you have legit mods and dont want to pay the money to become a contributor, i will sell your mods on here for a 50% commission, after we all check your mod to establish it is in fact your coding and you are the author of the mod.

Poor guy. He's probably so embarrased that he changed his ID (assuming he's still a Boonex user). Or, he decided to pack up ad hit the sunset, leaving anything and everything Boonex behind. In either case, the outcome is positive. We either straitened a pretty bent nail or [collectively] fumigated a pesky cochroach. ;-)
