it's almost impossible to make good layouts using html blocks .... if you place tables next to each other (left / right) the results are messed up

if you place tables above or below a table the block messes up same!

Another issue with All blocks in general is 'block designs'

from what I can tell only design 0 (padding issues with design 0) and design 3 work in blocks!    The other design options usually available and not in 7.1

I have not looked at it much yet. At this point in time template issues other than whats in my modules are at the bottom of my to do list.

Anyhow. I feel the dolphin 7.1 template is a mess. And all of those design box types are template issues.

I know i submitted one ticket on the member blocks, and it was fixed, but not properly fixed. There is still a padding problem on the first element in the list. So it still needs work. The entire template is garbage in my opinion.

Well I kinda agree with you Deano ... I loved the templates at first BUT the issues currently and the amount of time I have wasted trying to resolve and fix some have been HELL !!!

The navigation menu is also a nightmare as detailed here: http://www.boonex.com/forums/topic/Navigation-Menu-issue-7-1.htm

Since you are using HTML block, most probably that you have some unclosed tag in your custom HTML.

TinyMCE can remove some HTML, try to turn it off then paste the code and save the block without TinyMCE at all.

also... why will the html blocks not save 'addthis' code ?
