Been keeping a bit of an update thread over on my forums - http://www.deeemm.com/resources/boonex-dolphin/3-orca-mod.html

There's also a test version up and running at http://fred.deeemm.com although this is a little outdated now

Progress has been minimal past few weeks as I had an attack on my site I had to deal with and lots of mods to update to 7.0.2. But started to have a look at it again this evening.

I would love to have a copy of this. It seems like a better idea to me to fix the fish forum instead of trying to integrate another one since the forum is such an integral part of Dolphin. HL is also right. Have you considered adding the html purifier filter?

It should also use the same photo, video, file and music upload as the rest of the site.

Actually, I will disagree there, at least as far as images go. I just installed a news mod that added the phpimage function to tiny_mce. Now anything that's uploaded as an image in the editor in the forum or news mod is placed in a separate folder away from the gallery stuff. I like it better that way. Now users can directly upload an image from their desktop to a post in the forum.

The news mod has some issues and I am waiting for the developer to step up and deal with them but the image upload function included with it works perfectly in tiny_mce. My users were finding the process involved in uploading an image to their gallery, then copying the link and posting it into their forum posts a bit of a hassle. The upload function I use now also sets the max width of the image to 400px to keep people from pushing the forum all out of shape with images that are too large.
