Global Ads Module Support

This is a forum for my Global Ads Module

After you test out the demo, feel free to post any questions here, and any suggestions, comments, etc..

Currently the main functions are:

-Ability to place unlimited number of ads on right, left, top, bottom of screen.

-Whats unique is, the advertiser only see's one empty box, saying "place your ad here"

-After that empty box is taken up, new empty box automatically starts showing, so new advertisers can post their ads, this happens until a quote is reached for a particular location. You set the max ads quota in admin panel for each location.

-Each ad spot can be any size, you set the size in admin. So you can have 150x150 blocks on sides, and wider banners on top and bottom

How do you prevent the left and right banners from floating? I want them to be directly by the side.

Today Global Ads 2.0 is coming out today!
Updates:
- Auto redirect to the cart after purchase
-Ability to insert html, google adsence
So now you can insert pics,  plus text,html,etc..

If you are upgrading from the old version to the new:

-please uninstall your old global ads

-delete the global_ads folder from the modules/adminmysite

-reupload the new package

-run installation from admin again, that's all that needs to be done.

I love this module, and I had no issues installing it at all! Great job.

One question though. Can I remove the top center ad somehow?

Just updated module. There is a bug in current payment module, for paypal processing, which resulted in customer not being redirected to payment success page. FIXED

just installd your mod i think it a great mod for making money, but cant get ads to show up on sides , only want them on right side, do i need to make my pages smaller? and if so will it rearrange my pages format?

My side banners are not showing their content . I wonder if I am setting it wrongly. I attached a scrreen to appreciate what I mean. Any help would be appreciated!

Does this work with the latest Dolphin version?

I went to the URL in the screen shot to check it out. The ads are there they are just pushed to the right of the box.

That is caused by the box being so small that the header text is wrapping to the next line.

Edit the header text for those ad boxes. You need to change the wording Global Ad 120 x 240 to something shorter that will fit on the line without wraping. After thats done then the ad will show correctly.

I have a pre-sale question...

Can the advertisers target their ads to specific users based on user profile fields (including custom user profile fields), group memberships, etc? For instance, let's say I create a custom profile field for "favorite clothing brand" and a user puts "Gap" in that field. Can the advertisers choose to have their ads shown only to users who have entered the word "Gap" in that profile field, since their ad will be relevant to that clothing line?

If that functionality is not currently available, I would like to get a quote from you on adding that functionality.

his demo site looks abandonded, with 11K blog spam posts. the phone number listed on the ads here is dead, not answering email for a week?

Something is wrong here! This mod was update the 11/04/2013 but there is no change, it is not anything ! In config.php ....

Here is my Fix for this:

Open the Install Instruction from the ZIP File.

open the config.php and change the 7.0.x to 7.1.x

grep the real custom_ads.css from the demo site:

Open the files:

Has anyone has success with this global ads mod? The developer is telling me he needs FTP to fix the issue of the blocks not showing correctly, the words displaying out side the box, the picture showing outside the box as well. Is anyone else having this same issue? The developer says the only way to fix this is with FTP however I have had many mods installed without giving my FTP access. Last time I gave out my FTP access someone tried to hack my website. Can someone advise?

 Does not work at all for me either. everything about that mod is mess up.

Is Adminmysite still around ? I have sent an IM and havent heard anything back yet.....I'm trying to see if this mod has a fix for it to work with   7.1.4, If no fix then I shall look for another advertising Mod.

 He does not reply back to any emails. Plus the mod does not work. The sad thing about all I bought the mod twice $170 can't even use the mod.
