Revolution in Kyrzgystan, most BoonExers affected

VictorT posted 7th of April 2010 in . 29 comments.

The actions of opposition forces against current government started yesterday in city Talas of Kyrgyzstan yesterday 6th of April.

Today, April 7, they enlarged their forces and the actions started in the capital of Kyrgyzstan, Bishkek. Yes, there are victims.

Most BoonExers are affected because of the connection issues to internet. Yesterday we have experienced internet connection problem during whole night.

Mike, Leonid and I (BoonExers) are living near/around the center of the capital and hear the fire shots and explosions sometimes around. Hopefully, we are all at home and safe at the moment.

At the moment government agreed to meet opposition leaders to negotiate and stop fire.

However, the situation in the city is out of control mostly. And we don't know to what conditions the situation will lead.

The temporary government staff is created and they negotiate at the moment. Waiting for press conference on the results of that.

I was sent to situations like that when I was in the army. It is terrible when things get out of control. Keep your heads down and stay out of sight. I hope that things will settle fast. Best of luck.

lol

can you guys talk about the end of 2012

It looks like a full-blown revolution is underway in Kyrgyzstan. I watched the videos. Perhaps the community can do something with our Dolphin platforms to get the "real" word out to the World. The question is what can "the World do to end this peacefully"? Where could we all put pressure to assist? Any ideas?

@Stardreamer It happened before. Information is out there, you can't hide it in 2010. Judging by what we had in 2005 the best thing is to wait until they change the government and settle. Common people have nothing to do with this - both sides are funded by Kyrgyz clans from different areas. Protestors are mostly unemployed youth, paid to cause trouble.

In 2005 all we could do is protecting BoonEx office (cut some metal pipes and prepared boiled water, but luckily we weren't attacked).

It's see more a rough country, nobody cares about whatever other countries or UN have to say. People will protect their homes, but that's all they can do.

this was showed on the Polish television in the main television messages today

Wow,war sucks.
Try to find something about it in the Dutch news, but can't find somethink about it.
But Dutch news is usually propagandised by extreme left winged politicians, so guess that's why there is still nothing written about it.

But good luck all , i hope you and all your familie will be and stay safe and in good health.

I wouldn't live in a crazy place like that. I'd pack my stuff and get the hell out. I'd move to a part of the world where there are no wars in the streets.

I am very sorry to hear these kind of news, here in Europe as normal there is no information about it so the only thing we can do at the moment is some network to inform the people arround here.
Keep strong. And I hope peace is coming soon.
